My baby boy Ben has left us this 26th of November 2006, one month shy of his 11th birthday. He was the best Christmas gift ever. He was my little soul mate. He will be missed... beyond words.

I set about on the mission of finding Ben for my own purposes, to have an excellent obedience dog. Unbeknownst to me, he to came into this world with mission of his own, a very different one. His was to take he and I on an incredible journey of happiness, pain, joy, and sorrow. All in the name of helping other dogs like him - eventually all around this great big world. He introduced me to the most wonderful people I could ever imagine and thereby enriched my life... beyond words.

Now I have to go on and continue this journey without you. I love you and miss you Benjamin, you will always be in my heart. And it is from my heart that I will find the voice to continue your mission, even when I am... beyond words.
